Kids these days
Kids these days. I had the good fortune to sail on the Bark Europa into Louisbourg Harbor, Nova Scotia. The crew, bringing the ship into harbor despite the wind and weather, was mainly comprised of young people.
These days, with all the dissonance and discordant newsfeeds, the many appalling injustices, I do the best I can and then sleep well at night knowing the caliber of those on deck. We’ve got this.
I wish it wouldn't take so long and hurt so much.
An excellent endeavor. Much the same could be said of gardening or other creative activities, but I’m glad you’re there to make this sailing opportunity possible.
